Facebook advised to offer a paid, ad-free version

Renowned social networking site Facebook has been advised by Twitter co-founder Biz Stone to offer an ad-free version for $10 a month.
The idea is that a premium version of Facebook could appeal to people who don’t the flood of ads on their Facebook page. Ads on Facebook are generally acceptable because that’s what makes Facebook free.
Calculations show that if just 10% of Facebook’s 1 billion active users paid $10 each per month, the company would make $1 billion a month.
Statistics show that during the first quarter of 2013, Facebook made just $2.85 per user in the U.S. and Canada.
This could mean a fortune for Facebook, but what does it mean to the normal Facebook user like me???
